Summary
Anti-vibration hammers are designed to reduce wire vibrations caused by wind. High voltage lines have high pole positions and large running distances. When conductors are exposed to wind, they will vibrate. When the conductor is moving, the operating conditions where the conductor is suspended are most unfavorable. Because of so many vibrations, the wire will suffer fatigue damage from occasional bending. If the distance between the top lines of the head is more than 120 meters, anti-vibration hammers are widely used to prevent vibrations.
